Building a deeply rewarding relationship with your puppy based on trust, cooperation, encouragement, and love will set you up to have a wonderful companion for life. The¬†fundamental skills we will practice in this class are an indispensable resource for the future for every behavior you’ll ever need from your dog. Training will be gentle and fun and will teach proper positive reinforcement techniques to ensure that you create a confident, healthy, well-mannered puppy. Topics will include: socialization including play time with other puppies and adult dogs, successful house training, mouthing/biting/chewing, basic obedience skills such as sit, down, walking on leash, and coming when called, and how to build structure in your puppy’s life to help them become a happy and well-adjusted teenager and adult dog.
